Social Media Project

I've launched and managed a personal social media project where I documented my dog's training with sound buttons, growing an engaged audience of 50,000 followers across different platforms in under 1.5 years, while I advocated for force-free dog training methods.

This project focused on documenting dog training using AIC, a method that allows dogs to ‘talk’ by pressing sound buttons with pre-programmed words. 

 

I managed content creation, scheduling, and community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The focus was short-form video content with search engine optimized captions and hashtags for maximized reach. 


Follower Growth:

TikTok: 38.2K

Instagram: 9.25K

Facebook:  6.8K

YouTube: 1.04K


Engagement:

Multiple videos reached over 1 million views on TikTok and videos regularly reached hundreds of thousands of views on other platforms. The project resulted in an engaged community, I consistently received high engagement in the form of shares, comments and DMs from followers.

 

I leveraged tools like Canva for graphic posts, CapCut for video editing, and built-in platform analytics (TikTok Insights, Instagram analytics) to track performance and refine strategies over time.

I partnered with FluentPet as an affiliate, successfully driving sales through my content. By integrating affiliate links organically within engaging posts, I converted viewers into customers, contributing to a total revenue of almost $10,000. 

 

This project taught me valuable lessons in content strategy, audience engagement, and data-driven marketing. I learned how to test different content styles, analyze metrics to refine strategies, and optimize social media posts for reach and engagement. These skills are directly transferable to digital marketing and social media management roles.
